According to the Fayetteville website, every Wednesday and Saturday during the summer is the Downtown Farmers’ Market event. You can check out the best local produce, ranging from candy to vegetables and arts and crafts. The Farmers’ Market is a great way to get out and support your community, and it also offers a way for local farmers and artists to showcase their products and work.
For those more interested in art, there is also the Fayetteville Art Attack. On Wednesdays you can stop by The Rock Shop and get in for just $2 per person. You can also shop local vendors or simply enjoy arts and crafts with the family.
Fayetteville After 5 is also a popular event, with a range of activities and shows for all to enjoy. Starting at 5pm you can stop by Festival Park. No outside food or drink is allowed, though you can buy plenty of good eats there at the event. Proceeds go towards the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival.
